CATAWIT Launching BC Chapter With a Lunch

The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance - Women in Technology Forum (CATA WIT Forum) has organized an event to launch its recently formed BC Chapter. The lunchtime event will feature vignette presentations by women who are leaders in the BC technology sector like Catherine Boivie, Senior VP, Information Technology and CEO of Inventure Solutions, Cybele Negris, Co-founder and COO of Webnames.ca and Maria Pacella, Investment Manager of IT at Growthworks. Topics discussed will include what you need to know to climb the corporate ladder, securing financing, working effectively with recruiters and what it is like to be a woman entrepreneur in the technology sector.

The event takes place on June 2, at 11:30-1:30pm at the Segal Graduate School of Business (SFU 500 Granville Street).  Cost is $30 and you can register here.
