Calgary startup Chaordix has launched a new community for BC residents.
The Food To Go Crowd Exchange is an "online market intelligence community" that is crowdsourcing ideas for innovation in the quick service restaurant industry: how can QSRs in BC improve the dining experience?
Participants will discuss topics such as service preferences, pet peeves with design, and food. Participants will also have an opportunity to win Amazon and Best Buy gift certificates as a reward for their time.
Last year, Chaordix signed a strategic partnership with KPMG to offer a managed service called Crowd Connection, which provides leading brands with digital market insights from a customisable forum for product innovation. 2012 also saw the startup hire a new COO and shuffle its executive team.
“Market adoption of our Chaordix Crowd Intelligence offering has accelerated significantly this year,” explained Chaordix founder Shelley Kuipers at the time. “With this evolution of our team, we’re positioned to expand our business to continue to meet the needs of our growing clientele of innovative brands and organizations.”
Last summer, the Canadian startup raised $1.5 million in a Series A round led by Yaletown Venture Partners.
