Chicks Who Click coming to Vancouver - save 20% off early-bird price

Chicks Who Click is a one-day Social Media Conference for Women incorporating networking, education and empowerment with like-minded women and its coming to Vancouver on June 27th.

Our vision was to create a conference, a think tank, if you will, for women to come together to listen, teach, experiment and connect with like-minded women face to face, stay connected through Twitter, Blogging, Facebook or Flickr, and to empower each other in achieving great heights in our careers and journeys; and lastly, to collaborate our efforts as women in the male-dominated field of technology.

The lineup of speakers is shaping up and it includes some of Vancouver's social media mavens - Rebecca Bollwitt, Megan Cole, Monica Hamburg, Erica Hargreave, Gillian Shaw, and regular Techvibes contributor Victoria Revay.

Chick Who Click takes place at the Listel Hotel on Robson Street and the $250 ticket price includes the full day of speakers, breakfast, lunch, and a post-conference cocktail reception.

In addition to the full day Saturday conference, there is also a introductory Social Media 101 track on Friday June 26th to get the newbies warmed up for the next day.

As a media sponsor of the Chicks Who Click, we've been given the exclusive opportunity to offer an additional discount on early-bird tickets. Enter discount code "Techvibes" when registering before midnight on Friday, June 5th and you'll receive 20% off the $220 early bird price.

Sounds like an interesting event. I'll call it a success it they can get women that aren't part of the current social media clique out to attend. This group tends to talk amongst itself way too often, so it would be great it they could spread their knowledge to others that want to learn.
