CellWand is focused on improving the lives of mobile phone users by developing powerful and effective lifestyle applications accessed through pound numbers (abbreviated dialing codes). CellWand's enhanced directory assistance services help mobile phone users get connected to what they're looking for while on the move and target specific high call volume industries. CellWand’s first application, #TAXI is currently generating revenue with a number of Canadian wireless carrier including Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless, Fido and TELUS Mobility. CellWand looks to be well positioned as a leader in the emerging mobile search market in North America and is now developing its second and third applications, #PIZZA and #HOME.

Quebec City's Coveo provides search-powered information access solutions that enable users from enterprises of all sizes to unify data from disparate IT systems and navigate into the multi-dimensions of information for business critical decisions. Executive Chairman Louis Tetu (formerly of Taleo) explained that Coveo is a spin-off of Copernic's enterprise search division and currently has more than 600 deployments around the world.
