Code Factory Open For Business

Posted by Jonathon Narvey on Mon, May 26, 2008 10:48 PM · Filed under Ottawa · 1 Comment

The Code Factory has opened its doors. The Ottawa-area collaborative work space for the start-up community had its open house today (hooray!). The official launch is Tuesday at 5:30 pm here, in case you missed today's soft opening (StartUpOttawa).

The swanky new work space aims to be a hub for tech-types to meet, drink coffee and collaborate on the next big thing. Vancouver's own Workspace has helped supercharge the west coast's own tech hub and this new space promises to to do the same in our nation's capital.

The Code Factory is conveniently located over a Thai restaurant. Now we'll see if all that spicy food really helps those creative juices flow. Hopefully there's a water cooler somewhere on the premises.

Thank you for the post Jonathon.

No water cooler, however, there is a running water and a Cimbali coffee machine dishing out espresso, cappuccino and cafe American.
