Vancouver’s Control Joins MasterCard Start Path Global Program

Vancouver’s Control, a management and analytics platform for online payments, has been selected to join MasterCard’s Start Path program.

During the six-month program, Control will get mentoring from MasterCard experts, access to the company’s commercial partners and the opportunity to integrate with MasterCard solutions.

“With MasterCard’s backing, Control can expand our market reach and continue empowering online business managers to act effectively by delivering real-time payment, analytics, operations management, and fraud tools,” said Kathryn Loewen, CEO of Control.

Control closed a $1.5 million seed round led by Vanedge Capital and was recently named one of the 20 Most Innovative Companies in Canada.

Launched in 2014, MasterCard Start Path is a global effort to support innovative early stage startups developing the next generation of commerce solutions. MasterCard Start Path has contributed to the success of over 40 startups including fellow Canadian startup Nymi.
