Cossette Convergence in Vancouver

Marketing and communications professionals are converging on Granville Island on May 22nd thanks to Cossette West. Convergence 2008 is a Digital Marketing and Communications Forum that promises to shed light on how to stay competitive in today's digital landscape.

MIT's Grant McCracken kicks it off with a  keynote session titled Digital Cultures: Markets, Meaning and Brand Management and a strong supporting cast will fill in the gaps on boosting site traffic, maximizing cross-media marketing, and dealing with the blogosphere. Speakers include Vancity's William Azaroff, social media specialist Darren Barefoot, blogger extraordinaire Rebecca Bollwitt, 6S Marketing's Chris Breikss, Sympatico MSN' Paul Burns, Yahoo! Canada' Martin Byrne, Luc Cormier of Impact Research, EA Sports' Steve Park, Jason Smith of Vision Critical, and Kate Trgovac.

Convergence 2008 goes all day (9:30am – 5:00pm) at the Granville Island Arts Club Theatre. Early bird tickets are available for $200 until May 13th.

Me too! I'll be on the panel with Darren and Rebecca - looking forward to discussing both sides of the fence: what it's like to work with a client to build a blogger relations program as well as being on the receiving end of blogger relations programs.
