Rizwan Kheraj of NRC-IRAP was the keynote at last night's VEF Momentum "Stimulus" event and all reports are that Riz provided some very valuable information and insight.
Slide #11 sums it with a hypothetical young entrpreneur leveraging government programs creatively to turn $5,000 into $130,000. End result: Beta built, targeted customer consulting compete, technology validated, and business model shipshape.
Related side note: Earlier this week the Government announced that the Canada New Media Fund (a line item in Riz's presentation) is being combined with the Canada Televison Fund to the tune of $135 Million annually.
