Daily Deal Sites Come Under Fire for Fake Merchandise

by Techvibes NewsDesk

Ethical Deal and Dealticker both ran promotions for knock-off TOMs shoes.

Ultimately the online merchant providing the product for the daily deal site - e-accessories.ca in this case - are to blame but in scenarios like this everyone should take some responsibility. Especially since anyone with an Internet connection should be able to spot fake TOMS shoes.

Lynda Steele of CTV's Steele on Your Side explains what transpired in the case of this daily deal knock-off story.
