Democamp Toronto 27 hosts VC Fred Wilson

DemocampDemocamp is a series of events throughout the year with the goal of helping people find other “interesting” people in their community. First, a well-known individual in the tech/business field shares experiences. Later, startups from the community demos their product, get feedback and network with the crowd.

This time around, Fred Wilson will present his Top 10 Features for a Web App. Wilson is a New York-based VC who helps start and build technology businesses. Being a VC from 1986, he is now a managing Partner of two venture capital firms, Flatiron Partners and Union Square Ventures.

A few of the companies in the Union Square Ventures portfolio are Disqus, Foursquare, Meetup, Tumblr, Twitter and Zynga. Shout out to William Mougayar for bringing Wilson up to Toronto!
