Not to be outdone by their neighbours to the South (Calgary just hosted their 7th DemoCamp) Edmonton is hosting their inaugural DemoCampEdmonton1 on March 26th at 6:30pm at the University of Alberta School of Business.
DemoCamp is a chance for Edmonton tech enthusiasts to get involved in the Edmonton technology scene, come out and see a few up and coming tech companies, and interact with others in the community. Ultimately the goal of DemoCamp is to build the tech community in the City of Edmonton. People will get a chance to see what a few local companies are doing and then interact with other Edmonton and area tech enthusiasts. Everyone is encouraged to join the group at a nearby bar to have a few drinks and interact further.
Greg Campbell of Spieker Point Inc. and Daniel Boulet of Loa Corporation have already throw their hats into the demo ring and the attendee list is growing. It's great to see the DemoCamp concept flourishing across Canada.
