Vancouver is well-known as a hotspot of video game development, with firms such as Take Two, EA, Propaganda Games and many others all creating next generation content for gamers worldwide. DemoCampVancouver06, scheduled for April 10th at Workspace, will acknowledge Vancouver's preeminent place in game development with a night themed entirely themed around gaming. Two speakers, Dustin Sacks of SillySoft and iPhone game developer Parveen Kaler, are already scheduled to speak, and Jamie Cheng from Klei Entertainment will also be on hand to explain Xbox Live Arcade development. And no DemoCamp would be complete without a rousing game of Battledecks, this time moderated by Megan Cole.
