Vancouver's tech community and other interested parties will be at Workspace on February 7th for DemoCampVancouver05, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Workspace in Gastown. Besides Battledecks, the perennially entertaining contest of Powerpoint improv/jujitsu, a selection of speakers will give demos of products and concepts they're currently working on. Rochelle Grayson will be on hand to explain Twemes, Kinzin will explain These Are my Kids, their latest app, and Something Simpler will show off Pulse, an app that tracks your favorite bands and lets you know when they're in town. The event will be followed by spontaneous drinking at one (or many) of Gastown's many fine watering holes.
