CBC reported today that Propaganda Games, the Vancouver developer of the Tron: Evolution video game, is being closed by its parent company, Disney Interactive Studios.

Disney confirmed the shutdown of Propaganda Games in a statement emailed to and posted by a number of video game news websites.

Propaganda Games was founded in 2005 and bought by Disney the same year. Besides the Tron game released in December, the developer had made one other title, Turok, which features a dinosaur-slaying hero based on a comic book series. It had been slated to develop Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned, but that project was cancelled in 2010.
