Doritos Makes Fun of Pocket Dialing in Canadian Superbowl Commercial, GoDaddy Harms Reputation Further

Doritos played their own Canadian Superbowl ad, showing the problems everyday Doritos' eaters have with the intersection of smartphones and chips. They raised awareness about pocket dialing- something that's been a big problem in Toronto where 107,000 people pocket-dialed 911 last year

GoDaddy's commercial was just as tasteless as you might expect considering CEO Bob Parsons has been widely reported as an elephant hunter and was also mired in controversy when the company supported SOPA. GoDaddy lost thousands of users a day during that period and eventually reversed their decision but certainly could have done better than the following commercial in trying to earn back the trust of people as a domain name provider. Every video of GoDaddy's on YouTube from the Superbowl have gained a large negative reaction. The video below in particular has 18 likes and 38 dislikes, while another superbowl ad has 19 likes and 100 dislikes.
