Dragons' Den auditioning entrepreneurs across Canada

Canadians with an entrepreneurial bent are invited to bring their ideas to the big stage.

CBC’s Dragons’ Den is holding a series of open auditions all around the country, and if you’ve got a product that you think could be the next big thing, this could be your chance to get some publicity — and potentially, some investment.

To audition, all you need is your product, and to be ready to pitch it in five minutes or less. That’s it. Also, Dragon’s Den is hosting a teen entrepreneur category for anyone 13–19 years of age, so young entrepreneurs in Canada are invited to pitch their products as well. And remember, anyone with an innovative product can get some notoriety through Dragons’ Den; just ask ChillBeds’ Adam Berson, who won a local edition of Dragons’ Den hosted by CBC Vancouver. He’ll be auditioning for the national program in the coming months.

The Dragons’ Den audition team will be visiting Canadian cities on various dates through February and March; for a complete list of cities and dates, click here.
