Dragons' Den Star to keynote at Canadian Internet Forum

The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) will be hosting their Canadian Internet Forum (CIF) on February 27th in Ottawa and Robert Hejavec of CBC’s The Dragons’ Den Robert Hejavec will be delivering the keynote presentation.

This is the second year CIRA will be hosting a national dialogue on the development of the Internet with the 2012 CIF. The 2011 CIF was the first opportunity of its kind for Canadians to have a say on how they would like to see the Internet develop. The final report on the 2011 CIF can be found on CIRA’s website here.

A panel that draws from a diverse section of the Internet community will also be part of the event. Panellists include Michael Geist of the University of Ottawa, Steve Anderson of Open Media, and Bill Graham of the Internet Society.

The Canadian Internet Forum is on February 27th at the Westin Ottawa from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The event is free to attend and includes lunch - register online.
