Edmonton's Empire Avenue adds WordPress blogs to scoring platform

Edmonton startup Empire Avenue has added its latest social service to its scoring platform—WordPress.com blogs.

The popular social stock market, a gamified system that measures online influence across a breadth of social networks and associated services, determined WordPress—which 57 million blogs in use—well worthy of being in the Empire algorithm.

Quoth the Avenue:

Using a WordPress.com blog, the Empire Avenue market makers can reliably get your blog post, comments and other content and evaluate the blog, generating a more accurate value score than the same blog would on a self-hosted WordPress.org platform.
