EnStream was honoured by colleagues in the prepaid and stored value card industry today when their product, Zoompass Mobile Wallet and Prepaid MasterCard, won a 2011 Paybefore Awards.

The Paybefore Award, for best consumer value in the prepaid category, reflect Zoompass’ combination of features, functionality, service and price and how they come together in a single product. The fifth annual Paybefore Awards were given out to companies who are innovating within the field of prepaid technologies and getting new products to market successfully.

“Our industry is growing rapidly because of companies like EnStream LP, who continually improve their products and services or create new ones,” said Paybefore editor-in-chief and chair of the judging panel Loraine DeBonis in a press release. “We are proud to recognize EnStream’s contributions to advancing the prepaid industry.”

Zoompass is a free stored value account that is accessible from the mobile phone or online. Zoompass uses prepaid cards, so users never have to worry about losing control of their finances or incurring interest charges. Zoompass funds can be used online, in-store or for making mobile purchases.
