This past weekend, Enterprize Canada successfully hosted over 350 student-delegates, entrepreneurs, and local business professionals at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.  Known as Canada's largest student-run business plan competition and entrepreneurship conference, Enterprize surely did not disappoint, as the nation's brightest young entrepreneurs from coast-to-coast came together for three days of speakers workshops, interactive activities, and keynote presentations from Basil Peters (Angel Investor and Fund Manager) and Brian Scudamore (Founder, 1-800-GOT-JUNK).

In the final round of the national business plan competition, two BC teams placed in the top 3; Carve (Simon Fraser University) placed 3rd earning a cash prize of $5000; and EasyPlug (University of British Columbia) placed 2nd in the nation, receiving a cash prize of $10,000. VSM Technologies (Carleton University) won the competition and took home the grand prize of $20,000.  The top five teams will all have a chance to pitch their business plans to the VanTech Angel Forum as well as at their audition with CBC's hit TV series, Dragons' Den.
