Enthuzr to help Startups generate buzz at Startup Weekend Toronto
If you're going to Startup Weekend Toronto this coming weekend in Toronto, chances are you're going to interact with an Enthuzr-powered web page.
Enthuzr co-founders Ruxandra and Alex Bucataru will be helping the startup teams set up viral signup forms to kickstart their user base and prove traction for their apps built over the weekend.
“With so many apps out there, we know that it's hard to get real users as a startup. But to do this in only several hours while building your app, that's a real challenge. We want to repeat the success we had in Hamilton and help each team win by providing them with an easy way to reach more users through social media, over the weekend and beyond” says Ruxandra Bucataru.
Each team will be sponsored with a free “pre-launch” package for unlimited users and time. Teams that use Enthuzr for their signups during the competition, will be shown on the Flying Start Challenge leader board which will be available online and on the public display screen at the Toronto Startup Weekend event. And the team that gets the most signups during the weekend will be awarded $1,000 credit towards any Enthuzr package.
While Enthuzr might sound like the popular LaunchRock "launching soon" service, Ruxandra Bucataru points out that startups can use Enthuzr for the entire lifecycle of their business, not just pre-launch. "We give them all the tools to track and reward any user action they want to encourage: referring new users, posting, commenting, voting, purchasing... whatever makes sense for their app."
All three winners at the recent Startup Weekend Hamilton used Enthuzr viral signups and got the most users over the weekend.
That goal will be no different during the Toronto event, but it's great to see that Enthuzr have found a way to extend the life of their platform post launch.
