EventMobi Wins Award, Grows Headcount as Industry Heats Up

Meetings & Incentive Travel has inducted EventMobi's chief executive officer, Bob Vaez, into its Hall of Fame under the "Industry Innovator" category.

The recognition comes as EventMobi continues to expand its mobile event app technology. The Canadian startup, which has grown to 60 employees, makes it possible to create and customize mobile event apps for meetings, conferences and trade shows.

Beyond awards, the bootstrapped-company also recently earned recognition from the White House, getting cited in US President Barack Obama's Climate Data Initiative.

Toronto's EventMobi credits its success to the culture of problem solving and innovation it invests in.

"By asking questions and understanding the challenges our clients face every day, we can provide them with a unique innovative solution that not only makes their lives easier, but also creates a better event experience for their attendees," Vaez explains.
