Techvibe’s readers in Toronto have probably read all about Mobile Innovation Week by now, but one event taking place on the Thursday and Friday of that week deserves to be highlighted.

Mobile Media World, presented by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), promises to be two full days of networking, workshops, seminars and speakers. Among those speakers are some true industry heavyweights:

  • Wade Oosterman, President and Chief Brand Officer of Bell Mobility
  • John Kennedy, Director, Mobile at LG Electronics
  • Dragan Nerandzic, Chief Technology Officer at Ericsson Canada
  • Brad Cressman, Director at Sympatico Mobile

They’ll be giving presentations and speaking at roundtables on topics like mobile hardware, mobile commerce and payments, social media, apps, mobile entertainment, analytics, advertising and location-based marketing.

The two days of events take place at the Glenn Gould Studio/CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto, September 16–17. Registration is limited to just 300 delegates, so it’s essential to register soon!

Michael O'Farrell, Canadian country manager for the MMA and co-chair for Mobile Innovation Week, says, “The MMA is thrilled to present [two days] of learning and networking to retailers, enterprises, agencies and others looking to leverage the mobile channel as part of their overall marketing strategy.”
