Facebook Developer Garage returns to Vancouver

by Rob Lewis

In October of 2007, Techvibes sponsored Vancouver’s first Facebook Developer Garage where Backstage Technologies' Russell Ovans and SuperRewards' Jason Bailey were among the presenters.

SuperRewards was acquired in July 2009 for $50 Million and Backstage Technologies was acquired last month by Real Networks.

Three years later, the Bootup Entrepreneurial Society is bringing Facebook Developer Garage back to Vancouver on November 8th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at District 319 in Gastown.

Ovans and Bailey are scheduled to speak along with Mike Vernal from Facebook and J. Joly from Vancouver's own Dimerocker.
