Facebook has opened an office in Montreal.

The world's largest social network announced this week that the new Canadian branch is now open. It currently has two employees whose jobs are to serve businesses who want to expand their presence on Facebook.

Facebook has also set up shop in Vancouver, specifically Coal Harbour. It's recruiting up to 150 staff, mostly software engineers, to fill the temporary office.

Facebook has 18 million users in Canada. Its first Canadian office was opened in Toronto in 2009.
