Investors don’t like betting on unknowns; they like a sure thing. So if you know that your business is a sure thing, wouldn’t you like investors to know that too?

The Research Innovation Commercialization Centre is offering to teach you how to make the strongest case possible to potential investors at the latest instalment of their “Growing Your Business” series, “Business Plan Development — Nailing Down Your Value Proposition.”

The focus of the seminar will be nailing down your company's value proposition and tips on how to develop a strong, detailed business plan. Three speakers will be giving presentations, including:

  • Kevin E. Yousie, president, Crosswater Partners and assistant professor, University of Toronto
  • Gerry Hunchak, partner, consulting, Business Development Bank of Canada
  • Angella Hughes, president, CEO and director, Xogen Technologies Inc.

The seminar will be held at the University of Toronto’s Faculty Club (South Building) on October 20 from 7:30–10 a.m. Seating is limited, so register early and save $5 from the $30 door price. You can register for the event here.
