FITC Mobile Toronto ticket winner announced

Posted by Rob Lewis

Back for its second year and part of Mobile Innovation Week in Toronto, FITC Mobile is one of the only events covering all aspects of mobile content development – jam-packed with presentations, demonstrations, and panel discussions.

FITC Mobile runs from September 16th to 18th and Techvibes is giving away one festival ticket (valued at $199) to a lucky reader. To enter the ticket draw, readers simply had to comment on this blog post with why they'd like to attend the conference.

Andrew (@readywater) is the winner and here is why he wants to attend FITC Mobile.

I'm an interaction design intern working on geolocation based mobile games, http://normativelabs.com/redrover/ where we're trying to put together an interaction pattern library from the user tests we've been running.

I volunteered at the last FITC, and the both the talks I attended and the meetings I had did a lot to guide me in this direction. Unfortunately, money is still tight as an intern/junior designer, and this kind of contest/assistance (eg. being able to volunteer at FITC to attend) really helps.

If you're not our winner and still want to attend, you can buy your festival pass online.
