Although Mint has been offering Canadians service since this past summer the integration is now complete.

During his whirlwind tour of Canada, Mint.com founder Aaron Patzer confirmed that Canadians can now use Mint.com with no barriers.  All banks (including independents such as President's Choice and ING Direct) are now supported by the popular personal finance website.

In a partnership with RateSupermarket.ca, Mint can now offer Canadians bank and credit card recommendations.  In a press release RateSupermarket.ca stated:

RateSupermarket.ca’s market-leading rate data and extensive network of financial institutions and brokers will enable Mint.com, a leading online personal finance service from Intuit Inc., to provide personalized money saving recommendations to its users, as well as easy access to all products.

Aaron Patzer on this recent relationship:

The depth and breadth of RateSupermarket.ca’s data and relationships will enable Mint.com to provide Canadians with personalized money saving offers.

Mint is also working on integrating GIC rates and mortgage rates to further help their Canadian users save and keep more of their money.

In their effort to further Canadianize their offering, the popular Mint.com blog will offer strong Canadian content according to Aaron.  For mobile users, Mint.com is also available as a free app on Android and iPhone devices.

As Canadians continue to spend more online, a company like Mint.com is sure to be welcomed north of the 49th.

A special thank you to Erin Bury who interviewed Aaron Patzer this past week.
