Free Technology Association membership for Quebec start-ups
The Quebec Technology Association is offering 33 Quebec start-ups a free membership to their organization. Members of the AQT receive benefits like support programs and substantial savings on registration fees for AQT events.
33 start-ups will be given free memberships as part of the second edition of the 1-2-3 GO! Program. Information and communications technology sector companies who are members of the AQT will recommend candidate start-ups for the memberships.
“We give out 33 free memberships per year, each worth $350, based on the recommendations of our members who are eager to see new companies have the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders. This helps recipients avoid potentially costly errors along the way, particularly during their growth stages”, explained Nicole Martel, Chief Executive Officer of the AQT, in a press release.
The 33 positions are for start-ups in the ICT sector that have no more than three employees, have been in business for more than three years and have “demonstrated their enthusiasm for the program.”
Start-ups have until October 29th to apply by filling in the form available here.
This is a great opportunity for start-ups to get in on some free (or at least discounted) networking, advising and information. Although this opportunity is only open to Quebec start-ups, maybe some other provincial technology associations should be giving the start-ups in their jurisdiction a leg up like the AQT is doing.
