Toronto-based invoicing start-up FreshBooks was chosen as one of the winners of CNET's Webware 100 award for 2009 in the Productivity category, announced yesterday. Other winners in the category included web applications like Google Calendar, Mint, Zoho, Remember the Milk, among others. The results were based on an online poll conducted by CNET, which saw over 600,000 'votes' being cast in total. Mike McDerment, CEO of FreshBooks, blogged about the win here.
