Future Shop - Canada’s largest retailer and e-tailer of consumer electronics - announced today that they have built an application for users to browse and buy directly from their BlackBerry. Millions of Canadians visit Future Shop’s website every week and a new optimized Futureshop.ca site for BlackBerry users will make Future Shop a mobile commerce market leader in Canada.

Futureshop.ca’s navigation has been directly integrated into the BlackBerry browser menu, boosting user experience by customizing content and the website’s format for optimal mobile viewing. The site is designed to work seamlessly with BlackBerry's Wallet application which retrieves shipping, reward program and credit card information securely stored on the user's BlackBerry smartphone and can automatically populate Futureshop.ca’s checkout for the buyer.
