Remember Gaboogie?

The Vancouver-based conference calling startup launched in 2007 to great fanfare, grew rapidly at launch, but then it just disappeared.

Well it's back from the dead. Last Friday Gaboogie relaunched and according to the team they're seeing great traction.

Overall the free VoIP conferencing service is much improved but that should be expected after a four year hiatus. Users can register their own IP Phone or VoIP softphone (SIP compatible) and use Gaboogie at no charge. Toll-free and International dial-in services all around the globe are also provided but at a premium.

Gaboogie is commemorating the relaunch with a Twitter promotion. New users who mention "@gaboogie conferencing" on twitter before December 25th get two months of free toll-free conferencing in Canada & USA (includes international dial-in) or $100 in usage (whichever comes first).
