Toronto-based Viigo Inc, maker of the popular smartphone RSS client, has parterned with Ottawa deal finding start-up Gazaro to give users the ability to find the best deals on products and services on the go.
Gazaro is a "personal sales flyer" that searches flyers and store web sites to find users the best deal possible on products they may be looking to buy.
Through the new partnership, Viigo users will be able to load up a "Deals" module within the client and receive a live feed of the best prices for whatever they may be planning to purchase directly on their smartphones.
“Gazaro is excited by the opportunity of extending the value of our service to the mobile community”, said Gazaro CEO Sam Zaid in a press release. “People are increasingly looking for the best sale prices and value for their money while on the move, so making it easy for consumers to access deals using Viigo on their smartphone is an ideal solution.”
The "Deals" module further extends to functionality built into Viigo, which already serves up weather, stocks and sports among others, as well as allowing users to receive updates from any web site with an RSS feed.
