Geek Cantina supplies Canada's nerds, geeks, dorks and dorkwads with all kinds of cool stuff

If you’re like me, you’ve probably got a big problem coming up this holiday season: where are you going to get enough roast beef-flavoured gum to satisfy everyone on the Christmas list this year?

The answer: Geek Cantina, an online store for all the nerdiest products you can shake Yoda’s walking stick at. It’s a Canadian version of the larger Thinkgeek website, selling novelties, apparel, art, electronics, and, yes, even roast beef-flavoured gum.

Still in its infancy (the soft launch took place a mere two weeks ago), Geek Cantina doesn’t have the dizzying variety of products Thinkgeek does. But, they are an all-Canadian enterprise, wholly independent (unlike Thinkgeek, which is owned by Andover.net), and they do their part for the community. On Geek Cantina’s “About Us” page, they mention that five per cent of all sales go to local charities, and they are committed to being environmentally friendly by using as little packaging as possible.

Give Geek Cantina a browse, and at the very least, you’ll get a chuckle at some of the more outrageous products they have for sale. But maybe, just maybe, you’ll find the perfect gift for the one you love this Christmas.
