Get Me Listed Closes Successful Seed Round Led by Real Ventures

Posted by Rob Lewis

Montreal's Get Me Listed announced on Friday that they have successfully secured their seed financing round with hometown Real Ventures leading the way.

Other angel investors participating in the round include Beyond the Rack founders Yona Shtern and Robert Gold, and Sterost Holdings.

The local search analytics platform also announced today that Real Ventures General Partner Mark MacLeod has been named to the Get Me Listed board of directors.

Get Me Listed makes it simple for marketing professionals to manage multiple local search marketing campaigns—all from one central, easy-to-use dashboard.

“We are very excited to lead this round. The location based marketing space is currently very fragmented and noisy. We are seeing enormous opportunities for software providers that help businesses make better marketing decisions,” said MacLeod.

Get Me Listed was founded by Michael Mire, Ravdeep Sawhney, and Mohannad El-Barachi in late 2010. According to Mire, this financing round will be used to scale infrastructure and optimize the user experience.
