Get your nominations in for the West Coast Social Media Awards
Social Media Camp is returning to Victoria, BC on June 3rd and 4th and this year organizers are also hosting the West Coast Social Media Awards.
Nominations for the awards are open until May 13th at 4:00pm. So if you know someone that is deserving of one of the following awards, be sure to nominate them (or even yourself).
The pretty serious categories:
- Best Use of Social Media for Customer Service
- Most Inspiring
- Best Social Media Campaign
- Best Blog
The fun categories:
- Funniest Profile Picture
- Funniest Tweet
- Most Likely To Become A Social Media Celebrity
Honourary Category:
- Best Viral Video
From May 16th to 25th, the public will vote on their top choice for each category and a short list of finalists will be determined. The winner in each of the seven categories will be decided by a panel of judges, and announced at the Social Media Camp Networking Dinner Reception on June 3rd.
Qualifying nominations must have been live or occurred between March 16, 2010 and April 25, 2011.
