Giftalogs makes giving a social (media) thing

A UBC grad working out of Seattle is hoping to make gift-giving a lot easier — and with Christmas right around the corner (if all the TV ads are to be believed), the timing couldn’t be better.
Caleb Ho is the man behind giftalogs, a website that mixes gift giving with social networking. At giftalogs, you can create pages to organize potential gifts for the people in your life. Friends can add suggestions or make notes about your potential gifts to make the process collaborative.
“I have always had a hard time coming up with good gift ideas. Even when I do have ideas, I usually forget them,” said Ho. “I needed something personal that eased the frustration of gift-giving, so I built giftalogs to help people like me.”
Giftalogs is currently in pre-beta, but you can still take a tour of the site here. Giftalogs is moving into public beta on November 15th, so stay tuned to see what new features are added in coming months.
