GigPark, a social recommendation service based out of Toronto, recently announced a partnership deal with the newly launched user car website Autohound.ca. With GigPark’s technology incorporated into Autohound, used car shoppers on Autohound can see recommendations for each dealer and add their own testimonials. Check out an example.
This is GigPark’s first-ever partnership. The company has plans to launch a public API in the coming months to allow other companies, sites and web developers to make use of their social recommendation technology.
In other GigPark news, they also recently announced the winner of their first iPhone giveaway contest (congratulations Karolina Loboda of Toronto!). We're also very excited about officially launching our API in the coming months. We think our recommendation system can bring a lot of value to partners (Autohound is a great example) so we want to put GigPark tools in the hands of more website owners and developers and see what they come up with.
