Google to attend Vancouver's 3rd Fusion Digital Media Ventures Forum

New Media BC announced today that Bill Maris, Managing Partner of Google Ventures and Thomas Duterme, Corporate Development Manager responsible for acquisitions at Google Inc. will be attending Vancouver's 3rd Fusion Digital Media Venture Forum

The Google folks will be in good company. Also in attendance will be top digital media Venture Capitalists Tim Chang of Norwest Venture Partners and Jeff Clavier, Founder and Managing Partner of SoftTech VC. Clavier is one of the most active seed stage investors in Web 2.0 startups and was named by Business Week in 2008 as one of The 25 Most Influential People on the Web.

Fusion '09 is scheduled for November 12-13 at Robson Square in Downtown Vancouver and will include an 2-day Entrepreneur Boot Camp, a Pitch Conference as well as one-on-one meetings with local entrepreneurs and private investor sessions.
