GrowLab Adds New Startup to Second Cohort Two Days Before Demo Day

Posted by Techvibes NewsDesk

Edmonton startup Mover just announced last week that they have been included in GrowLab's second cohort and will be presenting at GrowLab's Demo Day this Wednesday.

While Mover is an extremely late entry to the accelerator program they have apparently been working with GrowLab for weeks but were unable to make an official announcement.

According to Eric Warnke, Mover's CEO, "GrowLab offers an incredible variety of expertise and is one of few organizations that focuses on true business acceleration. What we hope to get out of GrowLab is a steady stream of mentorship and open doors. So far we have been thrilled with the opportunities that GrowLab has helped create."

Mover is an application platform for IT professionals to move data to and from legacy servers and cloud storage providers. Simply put, they make the lives of IT folk better by doing a lot of the heavy lifting around moving information that was typically really hard and time consuming.

Mover is helping IT managers and cloud storage providers like Box, Dropbox, and Google Drive, have better relationships with each other. The technology behind Mover makes it easy to move from one cloud storage provider to another, and even bring legacy corporate data into the cloud.

Mover launched in March and has a five person team.
