GrowLab begins its hunt for 2012 Spring Cohort

GrowLab announced today that it has started accepting applications for its 2012 Spring Program.

The Vancouver startup accelerator is searching for the world’s best entrepreneurs focused on mobile, web, SaaS, E-commerce, and social gaming to form the next cohort.

The Spring Program will begin on May 21st and conclude with a Demo Day on August 21st. Companies accepted into GrowLab will gain access to up to $25k in seed funding, mentorship, office space, and a network of influential entrepreneurs and investors. Upon successful completion of the program, all teams will get the chance to receive $150k in follow-on funding from BDC Venture Capital.

As part of the accelerator’s mission to connect Vancouver to the Valley, teams will spend the last two weeks of the program in the Bay area to build relationships with investors, potential partners, customers, and fellow entrepreneurs.

GrowLab’s co-founders will be touring throughout Canada (starting in hometown Vancouver tonight) in effort to connect with local tech communities and are going international with a stop in Bucharest as well.

  • January 26th - Bucharest
  • February 13th - Toronto
  • February 14th - Waterloo
  • February 15th - Montreal
  • February 16th - Ottawa

Applications for GrowLab’s 2012 Spring Program must be submitted by Monday, March 19th.
