Facebook recently set up shop in Vancouver's Coal Harbour neighbourhood.

Now the world's largest social network has partnered with local accelerator GrowLab as well as Launch Academy to host office hours in Gastown for members of the two Vancouver organizations.

Non-members will also benefit from the partnership, with events open to the broader Vancouver tech community.

Two recently held events were "Vancouver Women in Engineering: Facebook VoIP tech talk" held on July 8 and "Facebook Vancouver Tech Talk : The Life of an Ad" held on July 9.

Facebook's office was built to house up to 150 staff members, particularly software engineer graduates.
