Moncton-based Lymbix Inc. has received $1.35 million in investment from GrowthWorks, a Canadian ventured capital management company.

Lymbix have developed a suite of software solutions which implement what they call "sentiment analysis" in email and twitter environments.  The sentiment analysis software analyzes social media websites in real-time, developing a "emotional spell-check" database, and rolling into their ToneCheck and TweetTone products.  The investment money will allow Lymbix to improve it's sales initiatives, so as to reach more potential clients.

In November of last year, Lymbix was accepted into Microsoft's BizSparkONE program, being identified as one of four Canadian companies showing promise in early stage technology development.

Thomas Hayes, President and CEO of GrowthWorks stated in a press release , “We are extremely pleased to be investing $1,350,000 in Lymbix Inc., a company we believe has significant growth potential with a unique product offering and strong management team.”
