Professional social network LinkedIn debuted on the public stock market one year ago in May 2011. Since then, the likes of Groupon, Zynga, and Facebook have also had IPOs. LinkedIn's has remained by far the most successful.
Today, CEO Jeff Weiner and founder Reid Hoffman were on stage at the D10 Conference in California. Reid revealed how often he looks at his own company's share price and it may surprise you.
"I don't look at the stock price but once or twice per month," he told a shocked audience. Sounds crazy, but when you think about it, any more often really isn't necessary, especially when your company is trucking along as smoothly as LinkedIn has been. We wonder how often Thorsten Heins has been looking at RIM's stock price of late.
LinkedIn has more than five million members in Canada.
