The Vancouver twittersphere is well aware of Invoke Media's web-based Twitter client HootSuite and their aptly-named accompanying URL shortener ow.ly.

Back in June we starting using HootSuite 2.0 ourselves and offered up some beta invites to the facelifted version. Early reviews of the upgrade were incredibly positive and it was clear that their strong following would jump at the upgrade when universally available.

That day has come and HootSuite 2.0 is went public today. The Twittersphere is loving it so far and their #hootsuite hashtag is on its way to becoming a trending topic on Twitter with 9K and counting.
