HootSuite Continues App Directory Expansion with Addition of SocialBro, Videolicious, and More

Canadian social media darling HootSuite has added a slew of productivity-focused social apps to its constantly expanding App Directory. The latest additions include SocialBro, NeedTagger, and VideoLicious.

HootSuite says that there are now 26 apps in its directory, with YouTube being the most popular install. Not far behind are Instagram and Tumblr. The directory launched in late 2011.

The Canadian startup informed us that up to 15% of new users install at least one directory-listed app within their first week. The Vancouver company plans on adding two to three new apps every month from here on in.

“We’ve added our latest wave of app integrations to help our business users turn social media messages into valuable customer insights and marketing assets tied to their businesses," says HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes. “Whether you’re a social media or community manager, video producer, research analyst, direct marketer, or lead manager, these tools open up new ways of gaining a deeper understanding of your target communities, so you can customize messaging and develop campaigns to satisfy these needs.”
