HootSuite Founder Ryan Holmes Returns Home to Ignite the Okanagan

Ryan Holmes, the Vernon-born and raised Founder & CEO of the social media management system HootSuite, will be speaking in Kelowna next month as part of the Accelerate Okanagan ignITE Speaker Series.

Holmes will be delivering an talk about his journey from being a young Okanagan entrepreneur running a paintball operation to creating HootSuite in 2009. In short order he grew his concept from a lean startup to a global leader in social media with close to five million users and an estimated $500 million valuation.

And in June Holmes was named BCTIA's Person of the Year.

The FREE talk will take place on Friday, October 5th from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the Lecture Theatre at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College. An informal fireside chat and question and answer period will follow. Register to attend now.
