HootSuite makes $1.9 Million round official

HootSuite Media, Inc.'s CEO Ryan Holmes announced the finalization of USD $1.9 Million of financing today in a press release. The official announcement comes on the heels of rumors and two significant releases including a HootSuite version for the iPhone and an update adding WordPress to the supported publishing platforms.

This financing round includes Hearst Interactive Media, Blumberg Capital and prominent angel investors Social Concepts, and Geoff Entress.

Should also give a hat tip to Vancouver's Espresso Capital Partners who provided Invoke and HootSuite with $200K in SR&ED backed bridge financing in October 2009.
