HootSuite Taps Global Audience with Tencent Weibo and VK.com Integrations

Vancouver-based HootSuite has added two major social media networks to its App Directory.

Tencent Weibo and VK.com's integration with HootSuite is evidence of the Canadian company's global ambitions. Tencent Weibo is a popular China microblogging platform with more than 540 million registered accounts. VK.com is Russia's largest social media network with over 200 million users. HootSuite now also supports Russian language on its dashboard.

Similar to Twitter and Facebook publishing networks, the Tencent Weibo and VK.com apps are useful for community managers, content producers, marketing professionals, public relations practitioners who already use HootSuite to engage through social media with global audiences.
