Mesh 13 Announces Hosted Startup, Demo Alley, and 15 Minutes of Fame Programs

Mesh has announced the second edition of its Hosted Startup Program.

The program helps startup entrepreneurs attend mesh 13, a Canadian digital conference, which is happening on May 15 and 16 at the Allstream Centre in Toronto.

“This is our chance to give back to the community that has generously supported mesh,” explains Alicia Kalozdi-MacMillan, who heads up sponsorship and partnership programs for mesh. “It’s important to nurture and support entrepreneurs, so we’re excited that we can offer a bigger and better Hosted Startup Program this year.”

Applications for the program are now open. To apply, mesh says that you need to be "a leader or future leader actively involved in the startup community." Hosted startups are handpicked, recommended, and qualified by mesh, who then invites the startups to attend the conference free of charge.

This year, the mesh team will also host a Demo Alley for 20 startups. In addition, the conference will include a 15 Minutes of Fame program that enables entrepreneurs to showcase their startups in front of a large audience.
